Today the postproduction work is all done digital using soft wares on computers.The digital animation artists are trained on using different kinds of texture, light and filters on the images to produce the desired quality of image. They take off from where the photographers have left off. But still it is the keen artistic eye of the photographer that they depend upon to give them the beautiful image to work with. End of the day with what ever technological development, it cannot replace the creativity, art and skill of the photographer who shoots the magic photograph.
